Multimedia Messaging Solutions

Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS) allow mobile users to send and receive multimedia content which can include, images, audio and video. Our platform allows content providers to send and receive MMS messages to end users using direct connections operators' Multimedia Messaging Service Centres (MMSCs).

Outbound MMS (MMS-MT)

We can deliver MMS messages up to 100Kb in size to UK subscribers using high-grade direct connections on O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Three, Virgin and Vodafone. With our solution the end user does not have to pay the data charges for downloading the message as this cost is covered by the content provider as part of the MMS delivery charge from our platform.

Inbound MMS (MMS-MO)

For maximum inbound volume MMS capabilities you can use our shared short code, giving ability to receive MMS messages using direct connections with the main UK carriers. We can route the MMS message by keyword and deliver the content to your Web server, FTP site or email address, including the text parts and the sender's mobile number. Our shared short code solution allows users to send in MMS messages from the following UK networks: O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Three, Virgin and Vodafone.

International MMS Coverage

We are able to also offer a Virtual MMSC solution to allow MMS to be sent to and received from any international using our own MMSC environment connecting directly to the user's handset over the Internet. Whilst this solution is not ideal for high-volume or "peaky" inbound traffic, it does provide global reach, for example for sending images or videos from mobile phones into social networking or blogging sites at real time. This method can also be restricted by certain operators (e.g. Orange and 3 in the UK).
